Q: How many pictures should I submit?
You should send four or more. We usually post four pictures, but we like to have options.

Q: How can I get involved with Snow Palette Magazine?
There a couple of ways you can be involved with Snow Palette.
1. You can submit your artwork to be featured in the magazine.
2. You can suggest: artists for the interview section, poll questions, and tutorials.
3. You can support SP by telling your friends about the magazine.

Q: Why should I submit my artwork to Snow Palette?
Submitting your artwork to Snow Palette is a good way to get exposure for your art. It also gives you bragging rights for being featured in a magazine.

Q: Does submitting our work mean that we are giving over all rights to it?
When you submit your artwork you are giving us the right to only place the artwork in the issue of Snow Palette Magazine that you submitted to. We will not use your images for anything else. So not to worry we will not exploit your artwork or use it without permission.

Q: Does Snow Palette get money off of our hard work?
No. Snow Palette is a non-profit online magazine. We do not charge subscriptions fees. We also do not run advertisements. Snow Palette relies on the goodwill of artists.

Q: What kind of art can be submitted to SP?
Visual art is the type of art SP is looking for. Sorry to all of you wonderful poets and writers out there.
You can use traditional and nontraditional mediums.

Q: Can I submit my animation?
I'm sorry, but no. You can submit single frames from your animation, but if you submitted an animation, no matter how much I might wish to post it, I wouldn't be able to post a playable version.

Q: Do you allow artistic nudes if tasteful?
For the most part I don't accept artistic nudes. You can try your luck on the off chance that I might, but it would have to be something truly unique and tasteful.

Q: Do you allow visual violence?
Yes. Violent images are allowed. Though I would avoid images of violent racism and sexism, unless the image is making a statement against hatred of this kind.

Q: Are there thematic or stylistic limitations to what you will consider publishing? (abstract art, sci-fi, fantasy)
No, feel free to submit work of any style or theme that you want. SP is trying to appeal to a diverse audience. Our only limitation is not having the artwork in the first place. Please don't be discouraged about sending us your art.

Q: Do you allow fanart?
Yes, fanart is allowed, but you must state that it is fanart, and who the parent artist is so that we can credit the work properly. This does not mean that you can copy the work of someone else. Fanart is taking an original character and doing something new with it.

All images displayed in the magazine are done so with the permission of the artist.

I love to see where this magazine goes!! I'll be watching......I look forward to the issue out in October. I'll add you over at smackjeeves too. Same penname. :)

Maybe someday I'll submit something. Right now, I really don't see why I would kid myself to that degree. ^^; I haven't found my courage for that really. *rubs back of head*

Anyway, I hope this magazine takes off. I've seen similar ideas but they all seem to have died so hopefully this one will kick off. :)

This is an online magazine available to everyone for free. We chose to do it online rather than print because a)many artists involved are from different countries, b)it costs a lot of money to print, and c)our readers can view it for free.

Currently we are using SmackJeeves as the magazines host. We would like to find a host better suited for our needs, but this one is the best we have found so far. If you know of other hosts you would like to recommend, we would be grateful for the information.

I hope you will read the magazine when it comes out in October. [link]

Thank you

Your most recent works show a lot of talent. While it may be true that you can continue to improve, so can every artist, and so every artist needs to. But many artists do not see how talented they are, because they see only how much they must do to improve. I think your work is good enough to be in the magazine. statement, crimson flower, cotton balls are some of your better works. You should submit some of your work and continue to do so in the future.

Your work is pretty good. You don't have much work on your page, but I think what you do have shows a lot of talent. You should submit some of your work. If we don't feature you in this issue, we could feature you in the next.
I hope you continue to work on art, and don't feel so insecure about your abilities.
